Here is a bit of my story for my character
Jose Reyes 22 years old
Jose was a singer and bartender in Tucson and on the day of the whichstorm he was on the far east side with his father looking for bargains at yard sales. His father, Cesar, was a TUSD schoolbus driver in his mid- fifties and an active and engaged person with a strong stubborn streak.
Jose was able to get folks to safety, but he was hit by the brunt of the storm. Unlike most who were hit by the winds he did not become an undead monstrosity, but instead he gained powers. With the zombies milling about he grabbed a brass curtain rod and his body took on the aspects of brass. Being nearly immune to the fists and teeth of the walking dead, Jose was able to protect the handful of survivors.
Eventually he and his father were the de facto heads of a small community of survivors at Dunham elementary. That was until a few weeks ago. The Dunham gleaners got wind of a large mass of the walking dead heading their way, and after tedious discussion the Dunham survivors split into two groups. One, the larger, has gone to Davis-Monthan the other consisting of two families and Jose and his Father have packed up into three RVs and went looking for a community to take them in and they found the signs at a few grocery stores and they have decided to go to El Con Mall …
