In the Modern Arcana chronicle, permanent magic items are very rare. Most magical items need to have their enchantments renewed periodically.
Goblins sell magic items but usually these items are only effective for a short period of time. The goblins specialize in potions, talismans, and other one-use items.

This dust is used to create barriers against the undead. It is usually used across doorways and windows. Its effectiveness is limited against intelligent undead as it is strong but usually they can go through the wall instead of the doorway.

This scattered powder reveals things veiled from sight. If a mage is invisible from a spell, the powder can reveal them but all the mage would have to do is reactivate the power. The powder needs to spread carefully to be truly effective.

This potion will provide protection from most poisons for a limited period of time. If a person is already affected by a poison, this potion will not fix the initial effects but it should stop any ongoing poison effects.
