The Modern Arcana Chronicles are stories set in a magical version of the Roaring Twenties. Drawing inspiration from the Lovecraft Cycle, Harry Potter and the Harry Dresden Files, the setting is one of hidden but powerful magic.
Two separate but interwoven chronicles take place in this setting.
The Nexus New York Chronicle is set in New York City. The characters are mages who struggle to protect both magical and mundane society from supernatural threats.
The Tyana Academy Chronicle is set in the largest and most prestigious magical academy in the USA. Characters are students at the academy who have to deal with all the normal drama of a boarding school, plus the occasional supernatural challenge.
