Description
Samira (Sami) is a female half elf cleric. She is 28 years old, stands 5' 6" tall (167 cm) and weighes 115 lbs.(52 kg). She has fine features, long blue-black hair and violet eyes that hint at her moon-elven father. Lanky, small breasted, slight, Samira looks like she still has some growing to do even as most other humans would be settling down in life.
Homeland, Family, and Childhood
Homeland:Silverthorn, a small village in the Upper Rauvin Vale. It lies on the south bank of the Rauvin River near a stone bridge crossing the river.
Parents: Samira was the result of a tryst between Bryana Greenwythe and an elven merchant from Silverymoon. Bryana's husband, Andreus Greenwythe was not happy when Bryana delivered a child so unlike his other six, brown-eyed children. They raised Samira but without the love and attention that the other children got. Samira never felt that she belonged with the family. When she was younger, she would make up stories that would end up with her father coming back, revealing himself as a Elven prince and taking her away.
Parents' Profession: Samira's parents are farmers on their own land. The farm was once prosperous but has slowly slid into neglect and decay.
Siblings: Samira is the middle child in a family of seven. Most of her older siblings have either left the house to start families of their own or continue to live at home, helping with the farm work. She finds her siblings dull and bovine, more interested in drinking, petty revenge and small affairs.
Major Childhood Event: Samira fell in with a Bad Crowd to try to escape the boredom of life in a small river village. It gave her a feeling of belonging that was lacking with her family She helped steal from farms and the traders that ran the river towards Everlund. But the gang soon broke up as the leader, Lucky Lennie, and his companion joined one of the sellsword companies.
Cleric Background: Bryana and Andreus Greenwythe finally persuaded Lokerin, a distant relative of hers, to accept Samira as an acolyte of Shaundakul. It was a way to get the girl out of the house and out of their lives. Lokerin is an old man, bearded and cloaked, mysterious and distant. After a short period of teaching Samira the orisions, prayers and rituals, Lokerin wind-walked away, promising to come back to finish Samira's training, He has yet to do so. In the meantime, Samira is still staying in the room above the cowshed.
Samira likes being part of the church of Shaundakul – she feels closer to the wanderers and travelers of the world than the stay-at-home farmers.
