Adric (no known last name) is a human male, 28 years of age. He has dark brown hair that he keeps long, the sides and top pulled back and braided so as to keep it from falling in his gray eyes. His face is hidden behind a close trimmed beard and mustache, and the features beneath them are well-formed, but neither homely nor handsome. He stands just a few inches under six feet tall, but seems taller because of his lanky and wiry build.
Adric was orphaned as a child when goblins burned down the farmstead where his parents lived (as laborers working for the landowner), and was found hiding beneath burned out rubble. He was taken to the druid grove where he was raised as one of the forest brethren. He makes his living patrolling the forest and living off the land. He's a well-known figure among the forest folk, both the elves who live in the forest and the humans (charburners, woodcutters, herbalists, etc...) who make their living there. They often repay his services by making him new clothing or repairing what he has.
Adric is very calm and collected. It's extremely hard to make him angry. Whether this is from a natural philosophical bent, or from the good weed he finds in the wood (and makes part of his daily observances), no one can say for sure.
Adric wears woollen clothing in party-colored (but natural) tones. When expecting trouble, he dons finely crafted (magic) leather armor of hobgoblin manufacture. [He took it from a hobgoblin rogue he killed several years ago.]
Adric comes to town frequently, bringing whatever he's found that people may be interested in buying, whether it be bear meat, a deer, herbs, mushrooms or traps that someone "must have inadvertently left where animals could accidentally step in them."
