Dwarf Barbarian
Background
Obin Musdaerg was born, and grew up among, the wandering tribe of the Tiger Lords. A mercenary tribe that travels far and wide, from the Realm of the Mammoth Lords to as far east as Lobaria in Casmaron.
While traveling with the tribe, Obin's parents encouraged him to study the strange ways of the old ones and their devices. Thus, he became something of an amateur archaeologist.
A couple of years ago, the tribe was working under contract to the Black Soverign near the ruins of Solver Mount. Obin's parents became so disgusted with the slavery practiced there, that they decided to lead a faction of like-minded freedom-lovers of the tribe against the slavers.
While Obin was leading a reconnaissance party away from the main force, they heard strange noises and saw peculiar flashes of light from the area of the main force. Upon arriving in the area, he discovered that his parents and their entire war party were slain by means most mysterious. Obin is convinced that the Technic League was behind the destruction and has burned with hatred for them ever since.
Traits
Against the Technic League: you gain a +2 trait bonus on all damage rolls made against targets you know are associated with the Technic League.
Numerian Archaeologist: You gain Androffan as an additional language. Also, when you use a timeworn technological item, roll twice when determining any glitches the item might cause and choose which to use as your actual result.
