Silverthorn Conversion
As it may have been predicted, I am converting my Forgotten Realms Silverthorn campaign to 5th edition D&D. This will happen immediately. If you need assistance in converting your character, just drop me a line.
Currently, I am going to flatten the level differential so all characters will be converted to 6th level.
The concept of magic items between Pathfinder and 5th Edition is quite broad. In the conversion to 5th edition, possessed magic items will have to change. A player has a choice to have one permanent magic item (based on an item the character already has in their possession) and 6 disposable items (like a potion of healing or 5 magic arrow/bolts). The only exception to this is Melgren’s Tankard. The Tankard is a unique item that may come into play on a future adventure. I believe Samira has it now. It does not count as her permanent magic item but it stays in the party. If you don’t want to start with a permanent magic item, that is fine as you are not required to take one.
You are not required to play the same character as before (although it would help). You might not like the 5th edition sorcerer so you switch to a 5th edition warlock instead.
Please post any questions/comments and I will try to answer them as soon as possible.
Thanks

I was playing the Stormborne sorcerer in Silverthorn. Is there an equivalent in 5th ed?

Gold and other non-magical items copy straight across to 5e?
We need the conversion done & usable by Friday, May 26, 2017, correct?
Also, will we have had maximum hit points for the first 3 levels? (So I an calculate his current hit points correctly.)
While redesigning my Barbarian for 5e, I decided I wanted something from the Fighter class, so I'm taking Fighter 1, then Barbarian the rest of the way.
My question is this: Are Ability Score Increases going to be done on the class level or the character level? If on class level, he won't get his first one until character level 5 and his other increases won't occur until 1 level later than if it were done on a character level basis. I'm good with either way. Just need to know for planning.
Also, I'm probably changing him from Dwarf to Human. Still looking at that though...

1. There is a sorcerer origin - Storm. It is in the Unearthed Arcana Waterborn Adventures.
2. Gold and non-magical equipment just convert over. The characters will start out very rich but the amount of cash will decrease as time goes by...
3. Conversion should be done by the 26th of May.
4. Maximum Hit Points for the first three levels.
5. Ability Score Increase is tied to class level, so he would get them one level later if he takes a level of fighter.
