Fresh from the fight in the depths of Scrapwall with the insane A.I. calling itself, Hellion, your characters are getting ready to join the ratfolks' caravan back to your hometown of Torch.
The whole affair started in Torch anyway - following up on a power transmitter aimed at Scrapwall, your characters travelled overland to the remains of high-tech junk scattered across the desert. Once inside, you fought various groups of criminals, gang members and undead and befriended a tribe of ratfolk. Their leader, Redtooth and Dinvayas, a priestess of Brigh, helped you win. From renegade ratfolk fleeing the control of Hellion, you learned that Hellion was using the power transmitted from Torch to power up an ancient digging machine, deep in the bowels of Scrapwall.
Hellion was going to use the digging machine to burrow into the remains of the space ship at Silver Mount and defeat another A.I. he called Unity. By consuming Unity's power, Hellion thought the he would be able to become one of Golarian's gods.
Using ratfolk tunnels, your characters were able to sneak down into the ancient excavator. There, your characters had to fight various parts of Hellion's cult - including an orc named Kulgara. In Kulgara's notes was the information that Unity created Hellion ages ago. Hellion escaped Unity's grasp and now seeks to surpass his creator. Also in the notes was Hellion's search for another one of Unity's creations - an android named Casandalee.
Hellion knew that Casandalee knew much about Unity - his defenses, weakness and the way that the more powerful A.I. could be fought. His search for Casandalee has been fruitless so far - but the last information was that the android might be found, buried in a fragment of the ship Aurora, somewhere underneath the town of Iadenveigh.
Defeating the A.I. Hellion and turning control of Scrapwall to Redtooth and her ratfolk, your characters have decided to travel to Iadenveigh and look for Casandalee and her secrets.
Just before leaving Scrapwall, your characters discovered that they were now level 7.
