Change Environment -4 to Characteristic Roll or Skill Roll (I picked CON for this) Long Lasting: 1 minute (it lasts one minute after the spell is cast) Area of Effect (16m Radius) [+3/4] Selective (if you can come up with some rationale for it I guess) [+1/4] Spell: [-4] Focus: OAF [-1]
Effects: CON -4 roll when hit to avoid losing a phase. Then CON -4 roll each phase thereafter to avoid losing half a phase
This option substitutes another effect for the one listed in the Grimoire, but keeps the idea of retching each phase. Losing a half phase means that opponents must choose to move or attack or both (only with a charge, move by or move through). This is mechanically equivalent to slipping on ice and falling your butt each phase (requiring a half-phase to stand up).

Synchronicity
10 points of Environmental Movement (talent) for the urban environment. OAF (wand) -1, Focus must be attuned to user -1/4, Costs Endurance, only to activate -1/4, Extra Time: full phase to activate -1/4.
Active Points 10 Real Cost 1 The lack of gesture and incantations means that this spell is pretty simple and subtle ... a swish and flick as it were.

Here are some simple Harry Potter spells. This is how I use them for my NPCs and for Dorian. Stupefy (20-40 AP) 4d to normal attack vs ED Reductio (40 AP) 2d rka vs ED (armor piercing) Vinculum (40 AP) 2d entangle (transparent to attacks) Sectum Sempra 2d-1 RKA vs ED (penetrating)

Mage Sight Detect (small group) Magic add it to the Sight group (via the pull down in Hero Designer) add is like 10 points, but worth it.
It can be a spell, too, but you would need to make it cost end and the other requirements for the -4 spell discount. Of course, if it costs END it is not on all the time.

Some problems with the above 'Mage Sight' spell; it will not let you see any 'mental' power or any illusion or invisibility to the sight group (the most common kind) also, it fails to detect any image to the sight group.
Also spells cost end, I was confused about standards in the game. If it does not cost end, then it is some sort of magical ability (from troll blood in the family or something)
