How would you go about recreating Harry Dresden's tracking spell. He uses it to track both people & objects.

It is a difficult problem but I am researching the matter. At first guess, I would say the Locate Person spell would be something like Mind Scan, with a bulky focus (oaf), concentration, extra time...
It could be expensive but with the appropriate limitations it would work.
For a more on the spot tracking spell, you could buy the skill Tracking at a high value and then you would cast it at the scene of the crime, so to speak.
I will continue to think about this as well as discuss it with Ken.

How would you make the Expelliarmus spell?

Ok, I am going to make an Airbender character for my backup in Witchstorm. I have a few ideas on his "Big Power" and want to get some input on them.
The first is: Micro Burst: Blast 12d6, Area Of Effect Nonselective (2m Radius; +1/4), No Range Modifier (+1/2), MegaScale (1m = 1 km; +1) (165 Active Points); Increased Endurance Cost (x4 END; -1 1/2), Extra Time (1 Turn (Post-Segment 12), -1 1/4)
The second is a two part power:
Tornado: Blast 12d6, Area Of Effect Nonselective (1m Radius; +1/4), Constant (+1/2), MegaScale (1m = 1 km; +1) (165 Active Points); Increased Endurance Cost (x3 END; -1), Extra Time (1 Minute, Only to Activate, -3/4), Concentration (0 DCV; -1/2), Costs END To Maintain (Full END Cost; -1/2)
Telekinesis (40 STR), Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2) (90 Active Points); Linked (Tornado; Lesser Power can only be used when character uses greater Power at full value; -3/4), Variable Limitations (requires -1 worth of Limitations; Only for moving objects; -1/2), Inaccurate (0 OCV; -1/2), Unified Power (Tornado; -1/4) The end to use this power is 48.

First off, remove the nonselective from both of these powers, because that means you have to roll to hit every target in the area ... with a megascale power that is unsane. Second neither of these involve a change environment, which is what you are trying to do, correct? You can tie some TK into a Change Environment, also the TK does it's strength damage. That way you can also reduce visibility and flight speed. Be careful ... Hubert's character does the 'storm magic' (for lack of a better term) too.

After a few moments thought - I don't see much conflict. Misty Rain's ability is to bring about the Change Environment, 3 points, AOE, over a 16 m radius, lasts 1 day. The special effect is clouds which can bring rain, sometimes a heavy downpour. It's limited to open areas - i.e. under the open skies.
As I see it, T..J.'s new character can move the air around to create Wind and Air effects. It doesn't seem to be limited by conditions - although a 2 km Air Burst (better name than Micro Burst) might do some serious collateral damage.

I was thinking of something akin to when Aang goes into the Avatar state and whips up massive tornadoes or something. Currently, I am looking at Change Environment with mega scale. The +1 wind level in particular. At 7 wind levels, it is equivalent to a weak tornado. At 10 it is a category 5 hurricane I believe.

Expelliarmus
Buy Telekinesis and then spend 3 points to use the disarm maneuver with it.
