Tragopan
A garden world orbiting a G-type star slightly larger than Earth, Tragopan has a rich biosphere that is completely incompatible with Earth lifeforms (making it fairly unsuitable for colonization). A small research station with about 200 researchers associated with the University of Mars (and thereby with Helix Biotechnica) are studying the biosphere. Of especial interest is the eponymous native tragopan that, despite its different biochemistry, almost exactly resembles the Earth bird of the same name.
The atmosphere of Tragopan has a higher concentration of carbon dioxide than Earth, requiring the use of breathing masks at all times. There is no highport and the downport consists of a bit of tarmac and a prefab building with some communications equipment. The researchers live in similar buildings and get their power from a mini-pile fission reactor.

Tragopan is a restricted world. Due to its unique biochemistry, it will never be opened to colonization. The ISS has authorized the scientific expedition, and has allowed a few tourist expeditions. All require permits and fees.
