I will be running the adventures released for the 5th edition Living Arcanis campaign, but this will not be a 'living campaign' like the old days. We are going to use the standard point buy for characters and such. We will also be using the rules for firearms from the DMG and wherever there is an overlap in rules we will, in general, be going with the Wizards of the Coast source. To this end, for psionics we will be using the Mystic class from Wizards of the Coast's Unearthed Arcana. I am also allowing the Artificer class from Unearthed Arcana as well, but the Gunsmith subclass is only available to Val'Abebi, as it involves making blast powder. I am willing to work with people who do not find what they are looking for in the available documents. This is Arcanis, so there are some things that will be removed from player options, these are the races Dragonborn, Halflings,Gnomes (as written in the PHB) and Elves. The warlock class is problematic in Arcanis; there are no Fey, warlocks of the Old One pact are at best members of the old Yarric Heresy (more likely servants of The Silence) and most of the fiends are bound by Sarish. If any of you want to play a warlock, talk to me and maybe we can work something out. 1_UA_Artificer_20170109.pdf (187.13 KB) UAMystic3.pdf (400.62 KB) The Living Arcanis 5e Primer

Luke, I am considering playing a retired captain fromthe Shining Patrol that is a Val'Abebi Alchemist (gunfighter). I have quite a few questions about creating the character and the background choices and do not have your phone number. My cel is 907-0253, if you get a chance and would rather not deal with my questions on Friday, give me a call.

I was wanting to take a bloodrank for my val'abebi, but they are not written up. Comparing it to the other bloodline powers would this work;
+1 to wis or chr
Proficiency with history or arcana
Comprehend Languages once per long rest
