This board is for the discussion of characters for Curse of Strahd.
Please respect another character's backstory, style, mannerisms, and idiosyncrasies. I don't want to have an entire party of manic-depressive binge drinkers that sound like teens from the valley.

High Elf Rogue (Thief) Background
I haven't played a Rogue in 5e yet, so I figured this would be a good chance to.
Rinn is a 5’1” 140# 120-year-old High Elf with pale skin, milk-chocolate brown eyes, honey-golden hair.
As a child, Rinn was kidnapped by an extremely ugly and evil female creature that he later discovered was a hag.
She forced him to learn the skills taught to him by an evil man that she brought him to. For years he had the lessons drilled into him. Any time he failed at a task or showed any rebellion he was punished with a lash that he later realized was an illusion created by her magic. Illusion or not, he still felt the terrible pain.
Eventually, he escaped, but still feels a magical connection to her through which she still attempts to fill his mind with corrupting, evil thoughts.
Harrowing Event A hag kidnapped and raised you. You escaped, but the hag still has a magical hold over you and fills your mind with evil thoughts.
Personality Traits I don’t talk about the thing that torments me. I’d rather not burden others with my curse.
Ideals I’ll stop the spirits that haunt me or die trying.
Bonds There’s evil in me, I can feel it. It must never be set free.
Flaws I have certain rituals that I must follow every day. I can never break them. (He always lays out his weapons and cleans & oils them before sleeping.)
