As the characters move through the story - I will use this thread to summarize important clues that players should keep in mind - clues that will help them determine what's really going on and where to go next.
- Inhibitor Facet: (The Lords of Rust, p62) This is a prismatic crystal - about the size of a large thumb, capped with a metal end fitted with metal pins and plugs. It fits into a receptacle somewhere. The one discovered by the players is an Inhibitor Facet. It changes the base programming of an A.I., forcing it to take disadvantage of all ability rolls, skill checks, and saving throws.
- Envoy's Mouthpiece: (The Lords of Rust, p62) This is a headpiece allowing for the user to record and playback anything said. It also translates between any known speech and Androffan - unfortunately Golarian tongues were't known at the time of its construction. What is important is the last thing it recorded: "This is the final report of the Salvage Module 'Chrysalis', Captain Yurian Valako reporting. 'Divinity ' is lost; the rest of the ship's crew is presumed dead or worse. The surviving crew of the 'Chrysalis' and I are boarding a launch and will attempt an emergency landing, but without A.I.control, the prospects of a safe landing are minimal. I have secured an inhibitor facet - if I can install it into the Unity interface, it should disable the A.I.'s security long enough for us to try to reclaim control and perhaps even signal for help from home. I am boarding the launch now and will append further reports after our successful landing."
- Battery Room - former temple to Hellion: Crude pictures on the walls depicted a demonic or devil-like creature - probably Hellion from the descriptions the characters have been given - and a steep mountain, oddly shaped and chalked in white or silver. The figure is menacing the mountain in some way.
