Magic Items – 2.0
One can easily buy the most common magic items at stores in most major cities. In London, there are a one or two establishments around New Bond Street that offer common and some uncommon magic items to the knowing buyer. Finnegan & Fogg, London, offers printed spell scrolls, spellbooks and instructional materials for the aspiring mage. Underhill’s always carries potions and supplies for the alchemist. Originally, magic items were imported through the gates from the Feywild but over time, people in England have started crafting them instead. The Invisible College tries to keep a watch over the items being sold but they have been ineffectual.
Out in the country, hedge mages and witches can sell some magic items but stock is limited to whatever they might have on hand.
Other uncommon magic items and rarer items are harder to find. Most such items were brought in through the gates to the Feywild or were brought here by something from another plane. You might find someone who knows of someone that has a rare magical items he or she is willing to part with. Adventurers such as yourself often will have extra magical items or consumables that they are willing to sell or trade for.
The Invisible College always has a supply of magical scrolls and items but they rarely sell to outside members. They are always on the lookout for magical items for research and development. Adventurers can always find a buyer for their magical items at the Invisible College in Mortlake.
